On April 7th, Coe’s Advancement Office hosted Kohawk Day, their annual Day of Giving. Festivities for students included games and prize giveaways, while challenges were held throughout the day to maximize donations.
The promotional video for Day of Giving was completely student-produced. Andrew Sloth ‘23 and Kenzie Macon ‘23 worked on the video’s production, while Leo Wheeler ‘23 worked on the music composition for the video.
Overall, $745,232 was raised to support students and the Coe experience, raising 149% of the goal of $500,000. The top three donation categories were Annual Fund, Athletics, and Academics.
75 percent of the donations made throughout the day were from alumni, with the 2010s being the graduating decade that had the most donations from alumni. Donations were received from 38 states. 14 percent of donations were from Coe faculty and staff.
