Coe College has been in search of adding a new English professor to their faculty for the past few months. After countless interviews with potential candidates, the search for a new English professor has finally come to an end! Former physics professor Caio Barca Bragatto is now part of Coe College’s English Department. Professor Bragatto is set to teach ENG-101 Introduction to Literary Studies: The Art of Reading and Writing in the Fall 2022 semester. Bragatto spent his entire spring break studying English Literary Studies with the help of Wikepedia.com and Quora.com. The decision to hire Bragatto was based on his more than extraordinary test result on the infamous “Should I be an English Teacher?” test. The Coe faculty and staff feels confident in his ability to share his knowledge and can not wait to see him in Hickok rather than Peterson Hall. Bragatto decided the transition was in his best interest after realizing there was too much to know and do in Physics. Students pursuing an English major or minor are encouraged to take his class and can expect to gain an acceptable amount of new knowledge to carry on in the years following graduation.
